65,000 km later from Feburary 2015 to now, I'm at 230,000km. Next week I say goodbye to my dearest Mazda 3 and hello to Mercedes. Its bittersweet! :(
Nice! I haven't heard of anyone getting pulled over for tinted fog lights. I tinted mine over 2 years ago, driving through Toronto, Ottawa (where I live now) and Montreal constantly. No issues!...

Wasn't today but on the weekend, I'm a big fat phony! :P
Got a steal ($300 all in) on some cheap summer rims with tires good for at least two more summers. Bless Kijiji sometimes.

Thank you for the suggestions, I will definitely check out the options and ask the right questions, was just hoping for a referral from someone to a shop that they know can be trust from personal...
I was doing some work on my 3 today and realized the engine bay is absolutely filthy (well I realized this before but I was ignorant to it for as long as I could be), I don't think it was ever...
Nice! I want to get one of the new 3s but I'm just holding off on pulling the trigger because I can smell a new Speed3 coming soon. At least one can only hope.
I see, they seem to be hit or miss pads. It's like, some people have no problems with them at all and some people just have problems with them right out the gate or in a small amount of time of using...
Give Nextmod a call and see what kits they have for your Mazda gen and then Google them for images and see if it's anything you're looking for.
Was buying a Mazda 3 and wanted to look at the extent of modifications that could be done to this car and one Google search led to hear.
Welcome to the Mazda clan.
From what I've heard of Max Brakes, their rotors are great but their pads not so much. I'm also in the market right now for both rotors and pads, I may go with Max Brake rotors and OEM pads unless I...
08' Mazda 3 Hatch 2.0L paying $200 a month with RBC Insurance, 22 y/o, Male, Scarborough, G2 license with a clean record. It probably helps that I was added with my car under my dad's insurance...
215k on my 2008 Mazda 3 Hatch, bought it in February 2015 with 165k on it. I constantly drive between Toronto and Ottawa so the kilometers are going to be adding up quickly. ;)
For an OEM replacement, for normal point A to B driving, Monroe's will probably hold up and they have lifetime warranty if I'm not mistaken. For me however, I'm a "spirited" driver, take it to the...
Also, consider replacing the strut/shock mounts at the same time.
EDIT: Not the kit, just the Koni Str.T Shocks/Struts. The "kit" comes with springs.
A few months ago I had to replace my shocks/struts, came across Monroe, very affordable, seemingly "too affordable". Did some research and the reviews are very mixed (mostly negative) so I avoided...
Thanks guys. JBR Rear Motor Mount on the way. Will review here once I get it installed for future reference for those looking into RMMs. :)
Why is this? Do you feel that their parts are overrated because that is my only "fear" of buying from them so far? They seem to have very good ratings on a lot of key items.
I want to buy the Corksport Race Rear Motor Mount (http://corksport.com/corksport-mazdaspeed-3-mazda-3-race-rear-motor-mount.html) but after currency conversion, shipping and possible duties, I...
