I think my car id hunted ,i took iti to my mechanic today he took out the door panel and the window's motor,then he put all together and the dam thing was working like new...

Yesterday the drivers side window stopped working .
I can still hear the switch opening when i press the button but the window will not go down .................
Any suggestions on what it could be...

Just letting you guys know i got the problem fixed my mechanic finally figuered it out it was 3 fu**ing 10mm screws under the front front cowl by the windshield...........

Mine is a 05 and i bought it second hand ,but not from a mazda dealer .
Does anybody know if a mazda dealer will fix the rust that i have specially in the wheel well .

The only one i changed was the drivers door, it was the chip inside the locking mechanism that was afffecting all the other doors ........

I went to MOT yesterday to pick up the locking mechanism and the licence plate holder and i was impressed with the service , EXCELLENT.......

yes all doors have this ,it has nothing to do with the switches on the drivers door ..
Its the part that when you close the door it latches on to the pillar ......

Finally got my problem fixed ,i went back to Dufferin Mazda and they said they had nothing to do with them ,it wasnt their fault .
So i went to MOT bought the locking mechanism and fixed it myself....

Just got back from trying it and it still doing the sameting.

try re programming your keys.

It even does it when i take the key out of the ignition and close the drivers door , even if i dont lock it with the remote.
