im willing to trade my 17x9 +45 rpf1s and all seasons for rims/tires + $.
you mean just slapping on that setup and done? lol
hopefully to not just measure spacers.
rpf1s are 73. no problems.
235/40 gets my vote, but it wont be too much different from the 225/45.
the wider your tires are, the slower your car will be in the 1/4 marginally. more drag. so the more grip you might get, youll lose in the top end. food for thought. if your trying to prove a point,...
i didnt notice it on the rears. even though i am rubbing slightly more on the driver rear. could be due to the weight from us drivers. i was talking about the front driver hub. really noticeable like...
im having a hard time fitting 17x9 +45 +5 mill spacers to keep from rubbing on the inside. with 255/40/17 rs3s in the rear of my genpu. lowered 1.5-2". rubs. and ive rolled and pulled the rear more...
if you get or put on the extended studs, then yes, you might need to get open ended lugs. you can safely throw on 5mm spacers without having to change the stock bolts therefore, you can use the same...
215,225max.
imo, get atleast 8" wide +45ish, with 225's. will be a good reliable setup.
rofl. not even close to aggressive. will fit no problem with no fender mods required. dont trust that agent for stance lol.
245/40/18. should be okay for no fender rolling.
basically a situation of paying to play. alot of speeds running x9 on 2nd gens with 245-255 with nice results.
to get better cornering, you want a tiny bit of stretch on the tire. if you want more traction, you need more beef! :D
^^ to add to this. im pretty sure that phil is running 17x9 +45 rpf1s with 10mm spacers in the front with 255s all around. his car looks beast, but its also at or near stock ride height.
more like 18x9 +40 front
18x9.5 +30 rear
:D
it would make it more difficult to fit, and it would mean running more camber and stretched out tires. not extreme, but its gonna require work for sure. if you wanna go hellaflush, you should pm some...
the best fix is to get the proper wheel with the proper fitment and offset. but seeing as thats too late. i would suggest getting the extended studs and take out the oems. put on 10mms and call it a...
like others have said, you will not rub on prokits. :D
you could just put on the spacers and c how they look. should be fine. 10mm isnt that much extra. you will prob have minimal poke if at all.
what width?
if you ran into problems, you would just have to run more camber, or roll/pull fenders.
^^ 245 or 255 would sit nicely on those x9's. you could always go more for the beefier look, 225 too small, unless you want some stretch.
plus if u ever wanna re-sell the rims, makes it a bit easier imo.
@ 2010maztre, i would suggest 17x9 +30-35 rear, 17x8.5 +45 front. tires, lots to choose from, size 235 rear, 225 front. get that flush look without too much overkill or work.
@junior, i would...
