    Default Mazdaspeed CAI Install

Mazdaspeed CAI went in last night after about 1.5 hours of work. I can feel a definite improvement in acceleration at around 3000 RPM, with a nice throaty noise at around 2000-2500 RPM.

Video of intake in action coming soon!

FYI for those of you that are going to DIY the install, the lower resonator box is a pain in the ass. Everything else is pretty easy.

Just don\'t drop the screws for the MAF sensor, I almost lost both when I fumbled with the sensor. See if you can get a friend to help you, makes the job go faster. Other than that, the installation instructions are super easy to follow.

    Thanks man!

Yes I think they do. I\'ve seen some engine bays in the 04\'s and 05\'s and they look kinda cramped in there.

HA HA HA!!! Pinoy Power indeed! No I never noticed that. I guess I wasn\'t really looking to see where all the stuff is manufactured. I figured it\'s all made in Japan anyways.

I wonder if anything on the car is made in Israel? Menorah Power!

Hmmm that\'s not a bad idea! I\'ll see about getting some video for you. Or you can just come to a meet and ask me to rev the engine a few times.

LOUD, and nice....picture a stupid civic with a CTC universal exhaust.

It sounds nicer, and less crude

All this coming from the front of the engine!!!

    Where was that sourced from?

    ^ Thanks for the welcome!

No, I couldn\'t attend MOM. That was Brian\'s (thekid) race-prepped red Protege5. He\'s the other 1/3 to MOSI Race Dynamics - the last 1/3 being Dave (superdave).

Opened up the throttle this mornin\' on the 404 south. Couldn\'t believe how quick I hit 160km/h. The cool air really helped.

    Thanks Mazdaspeed!
