exactly.. sometimes I wonder if forums are a shopping mall for thieves.
Isn\'t this forum a \"friendly\" and \"helpful\" community? In my opinion, that attracts people to join this awesome forum.

    Just my 2 cents.
Well no doubt it\'s friendly.. and I routinely check the board to get ideas for my next mod. But you got to wonder, especially for members who go all out with in-dash lcds, amps, speakers, etc. that with more then 200 plus views.... one can easily develop a profile on the items in your car, general location where you live, and in some cases your work place, all by just using the search engine. Just gotta be careful... call me paranoid (really I\'m not)

Anyhow, I\'m lightly modded.. just the usually stuff everyone has here.

I don\'t get what you are saying. Sure it\'s the internet, but it\'s not the early nineties anymore. Normal people use it. Sure people can profile you if they want, but to what end? I\'m not sure what you are implying.

Most here attend meets, so have met each other in person. I haven\'t gone postal...yet.

That\'s why this is more of a \"community\" than just another web forum where people hide behind screen names and call each other names. Well, we can still do that...

I think he is saying that it\'s very easy for someone to browse this post, then search for other posts that may give the location of a member, bob\'s your uncle.....stolen car.

Hell the individual need not even register as a member if he wants to do the extra leg work without the search option.

think of it this way though if someone sees your car going down the street and this particular person really wants something bad enough they will find you regardless. Sure we all spend lots of time and money in our cars but basically speaking a car is a car that brings you from a to b (very hard for me to admit)
    thats my opinion

OK, enough, if you don\'t want to post your mods, then don\'t. If you do then go right ahead. Let\'s not debate the faults and merits of posting mods on a public for in this thread.

Some one actually stole your original antenna? The stock one? Thats what you call the \"height of desperation\"!

Anyone know what the \"height of sophistication\" is?
