That\'s great that you can change it to a short ram for the winter if you\'d like. Would love to see dyno comparisons for AEM, K&N and Injen.

Hmm, maybe I can just buy the kit and run it as an SRI all the time (I\'m too lazy to remove the wheel).
I assume us 2.0L guys are gonna have to wait at the back of the bread line until they start hooking us up.....arc

I would K&N and it would probably more readily available for us up here than either Injen or AEM.Originally posted by billyfo

I WANT IT
you think it can be pre-ordered at crappy tire?
Andrew - wa wa wee wa
If you plan on trying to order it from canadian tire, re consider and go to part source instead....I know that part source is owned by Can.Tire buuuut, when I ordered my K&N replacement I checked with Part source-64 + Tax
Can.Tire-85 + Tax
Performance Improvements(Hamilton) 85 + tax
Guess where I bought it???![]()

why do so many people want to switch to an SRI for the winter? from what I\'ve seen, the filter is placed behind the drivers side fog light on the CAI\'s, and is protected from underneath by the plastic cladding, so unless you go ripping through a snowbank and tear off the bumper or the cladding, how would you get any damage through the CAI?
Now: WedsSport, Dunlop, TechnaFit, AEM, Hawk, DBA, ApexCone, Racing Beat, Koni, AWR, SPC. Soon: Exedy
it actually sits even higher then the fogs. it actually closer to the bumper section between the fogs and headlights. Definately covered well.
But I like runnnig through large snow banks! :p j/k

hahaha, you need a personal moderator to moderate you. It\'s like you\'re a new person every day. One day your complaining about where the threads are, then you\'re picky about spelling and grammar, then to top it all off you post pictures of some BIG women.
hahahaha..
how about a vote?
shall bluntman be stripped of mod rights?

Oh, and BTW, that ONE TIME I corrected someone\'s grammar, that was a mistake, I didn\'t know I had the power to change the wording in someone else\'s post.Originally posted by bluntman

SOOOOOO since Methodyst is the only guy who responded to my question :p I\'m going to assume that there\'s no real arguement to forgo a CAI for an SRI because \"I drive in the winter\"?![]()
Sorry Jack. I agree with you, unless the snow piles up overnight similar to this...
then stick with the full length CAI.
Your bound to get lazy and will end up not changing it every year anyways. GO FULL OR GO HOME!!!!
