    Question CAI comparison

After browsing for an hr throught the search results for "CAI" or "Cold Air Intake", I've yet to find a good comparison between the various popular CAIs (Injen, AEM, MS, K&N, Fujita, etc.)

I figure some typical pts of interest/comparison could be:
Price | Performance | Ease of installation | Hydrosheild or not? | Look | Sound | etc.

Any subject matter expert out there care to step up to the plate?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Did you see this one?
    http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/sh...ight=injen+aem
It compares AEM, Injen, Fujita and Mazdaspeed CAIs in terms of performance and sound. There are also a few prices in this thread, but they may not be accurate since the thread is around a year old.

This one talks about pricing, but once again, it is a bit out-dated. The sponsors and/other members will probably have to chime in to give an update on their latest pricing.

Performance/Dyno results from a member with the Fujita CAI. This link also includes a sound clip. (I have not checked to see if it works.)

There is a link for a sound clip for the Injen CAI here. I have not tried it, so I am not sure if the link is dead.

This link contains a sound clip for the Fujita CAI. I am not sure if it still works, cause I was not able to view it.

This one shows a poll so that you can see what CAI the majority of members are using. In this case, MS.

Because your question is so "complex", I am pretty sure there is no single thread with everything in there. Your answers are going to be spread across a few threads.

I will try to help you out. *puts on reading glasses* Since you searched for so long, I'm hoping I don't end up pulling the same ones you already read.

I hope that I answered some of your questions. If not, I am sure more members will chime in.
