    Default ONTARIO MAZDA

So yesterday I drop off my car to get an oil change & tires rotated
No service advisors were in that morning (7:30am) so I had to talk to ALEX one of the techs there.
I have been going to that dealership since DAY 1.. bought & serviced there. Never have I had such a great positive experience. I told Alex about my \"thunk\" with the two front windows and he said he\'d look into it.

2 hours later Alex gives me a call to let me know my headlight is out but they cant change it because its an aftermarket one (they burned out after 1 month). I didnt sweat it because I wasnt expecting them to change it. He advised me that he has some parts on order for my window; something to do with the regulator.

Anyways.. later on.. KEVIN gives me a call to let me know my car is ready. I tell him I\'ll be to get it after 6 because Im stuck at work. No problem. He was soooo friendly with me on the phone joking and laughing. He even went to put a watch on hold for me.

Later ALEX gives me a call to let me know that that PARTS HAVE ARRIVED! and they will be fixing the regulators.

    WOWOWOWOWO!

Pick up my car at 6... everything is ready for me. The watch is very nice. Got my 10% off. Windows work great. Car doesnt feel sluggish anymore and doesnt shake at 80/90km/h. And the car was washed very nicely. Other times when I had my car washed it was a half assed job; water spots everywhere.. missed areas.

Moving forward; I will only be dealing with Alex or Kevin. Only these guys are allowed to touch my car

So big to Alex and Kevin

    ============ THE NEXT DAY =============

    ***UPDATE***

So... both my \'super white\' head lights burned out in less than a month. After work I went over my bf\'s house so we can swap in the stock lights back in. When I had my trunk opened I remembered that they said they CRACKED ONE OF MY WHEEL LOCKS. So I went to check where they put the new ones as they told me on the phone they would replace them. One of the wheel locks was rusted and it cracked from the back. Anyways... so I cant find the NEW ones.
hmm.. did they put new ones on anyways?
So I go to the drivers side to check my wheels; shit... no wheel lock Check the driver rear... ****.. they forgot to give me new wheel locks.

    WAIT!
No kids..... the fun doesnt stop there...

My bf is on the other side of my car. He says \"Holy shit come see this....\" I go to the other side; rear passenger side wheel is being held on by 2 BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    WHAT DA ****!?

Scary thing is.. I drove home the night before from Sauga to Hamilton on the HIGHWAY! I called the dealership; it was just before 7. Lucky the service dept was still opened. We had to tighten them because they were pretty lose.
Get over there and the service manager looked pretty pissed.
i think offering me a free oil change would have made me forget all about this incident. But he was very apologetic. So I finally got the wheel locks....

But despite this; it was still one of the better services I\'ve had LOL!! That has to tell you something I understand we are all human and its an over sight. The car was there all day; someone forgot to do their job plain and simple.

Im sitting on the fence about letting Mazda Canada know about this.
** PICS WILL FOLLOW ** I will post them when I get home tonight

    phew Im alive

Ironic thing is was telling my bf how great they were and he even said \"Dont get your hopes up on a dealership...\" buahaha

Wow, glad to hear nothing bad happened to you MK. I know we say \"everybody makes mistakes\", but I don\'t think a mistake of that magnitude can be forgotten or disregarded. You definately wouldn\'t have been saying that if your wheel went flying off and you damaged your car or worse

A FREE car wash will make you forget little life-threatening safety and gross negligence issues like that...

Picked the car up Monday evening. Drove to the mans house about 10km. Then drove from Mississauga to Hamilton on the highway ~60km. Then again.. in the morning Hamilton to Mississauga (to work) about ~70km. And after work to the mans house LOL ~10km. So total 150km majority of came from highway drive.
    Holy crap.

Thanks Biz... I will be calling them

edit; is there a toll free #? I dont have flash on my computer and Im pretty sure Ive seen it on their website. And really what are the odds of them doing ANYTHING about it.
They can send me a HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSAIRY card but Im pretty sure when it comes to dealing with these types of issues it will fall on deaf ears. Ive had to deal with Mazda Canada before when I bought my car. Mind you I dont see the sales manager working there anymore and I know Im not the only one who complained about him but.....

glad you are ok MK! that\'s a scary sight to see 2 wheel locks for sure! you sure do drive alot and you come by burlington too and I never see you hahahahahaha.

then again, I am rarely on the highway and when I am... the needle is bouncing off the redline! arc ..... anyways ....

does go to show some excellent work on Mazda\'s part and now we can answer the question... \"is it possible to drive with 2 wheel locks??\"

    yes!

Sorry to hear about this. IMHO, Ontario Mazda is the absolute worse when it comes to service. I\'m glad you found the techs friendly, but doing a job prpoerly is more important. I have heard nothing but horror stories when it comes to them.

The only place I would personally recommend is Dave Wood Mazda. I know it\'s a fair drive away (Newmarket), but the service makes up for it everytime.
