I\'ve wanted to get inked for some time... but have never been able to decide on what to get and like you Broli it would have to be something I would really like forever.
My younger bro got his first one when he went out to Miami and actually went to the tat shop from that show Miami Ink... now he\'s addicted.... He got his second one already and has plans for his 3rd and 4th.
For those who got it done... is it really as addictive as they say? Once you get one you want more?

i have a friend, and he seems addicted!
he got a dragon tat on his right elbow, so when he holds his arm up and points with his elbow it looks like it is looking at you . . .
it is cool and all, but now he got the rest of the arm close to down
he wants his right arm to be a sleeve
and then he wants to get his back tatted and his . . .
(not dirty, just other parts and other parts!)

Well I got my kid\'s names on my chest b/c they\'ll always be my kids.(don\'t get one on your sternum between your ribs, it felt like I was getting an operation with no anesthetic)
I split up my wife\'s name on each arm.
For my last one I\'m debating on getting one across my back b/c I heard it hurts like a mofo.

Tat\'s are really addictive, I got my first one about five years ago, and I recently had three more done while I was in Thailand. I\'ll post pics later, I know I\'ll like my tats forever is because I design them myself, they\'re original and no one else will have the same as mine.
If you really want a tattoo, either design it yourself or find one, put the design away for at least a year. Then look at it again after a year and if you still like it then get it done.
I strongly discourage impulsive tattooing, like most people see one on the wall at a tat shop they think its cool, they get it done and two weeks later they regret it.

Tats really are addictive.
I\'ll post pics later too. I got my first as soon as I turned 18 \'cause since I
was a kid I wanted one. It\'s a yin yang on my left deltoid.
the second one has a lot more meaning, I was supposed to take my younger bro
whitewater rafting as a highschool grad present but it was all booked up.
So I got us matching tattoos. (NOT GHEY!!! keep reading!!)
we both got the same tattoo on the back of our necks,
japanese lettering that says UNITY and RESPECT.
