Yah the server is in horrible condition, viruses and trojans are all over that thing with backend UNIX programs sitting waiting to be used. Most of which has been cleaned up but the server seems so vulnerable that this one end.

The provider is the main problem! But I would like to note, why hasn\'t TM3 ever activated these emoticons? THEIR GREAT!!! they have been asked for so many times...

Alex - Whoever has control of the account with the hosting company can do this. I know with my host I can set it up in a GUI.

Keep in mind backing up is a band-aid, and does not solve the issue of the viruses etc.

This board is probably using a mySQL database to store all user info, posts, etc.
The database is the most important part so make sure that gets backed-up.
(phpMyAdmin does the job).

But the web host should do regular back-ups themselves. (should check with them though)
