Ooh I did that in 2012, spent a week in bed and also suffered nausea because of the painkillers, even broke out in a huge fever at one point.

2 of mine were badly compacted - and I stayed awake for the whole 45min procedure

Work gave me 1 day off -_-

Surgeon asked if I wanted more anesthetic - and I said no cause I was already over dosed

Also did that last year. The bleeding stops for most part after a week, keep up you washes and the holes fill in in a few months.

Wow you guys had bad luck, I had all 4 taken out last may, was able to go out that night and was completely back to normal within a week and a half eating steak. Day 3 was the worst forsure. I got the oxy-codeine pain killer and it was great. I tried to step down to Tylenol extra strength asap to speed up the recovery. I also have pics if people what to see lol

I've been avoiding it for almost 20 years... probably time to get them done.

For those of you with dental coverage with parents, be sure to get all your big work done before end of school. Dentists are bloody expensive. Just spent 600 on a crown.

Luckily I have coverage at work after 10 years of consulting. Would have otherwise cost me 1200.

Depends, I have photos of my puffy cheeks or the teeth itself which some people may find gross... also have a selfie with my mother when I was still knocked out/ high

My dentist said they could stay as long as they were not bothering me, but they were starting to hurt a lot so out those 4 impacted b****es came.

Yea, mine need to go mostly because they are so hard to reach that they just end up getting cavities, and I'm not great at having work done at the back of my mouth. Also the bottom two are only half erupted, so periodically they can get something under the gum line that causes small infections that can get pretty painful. I've been really good at keeping shit clean back there so it hasn't happened in a while, but all it takes is one time to be uncomfortable for 2-3 days.

That sounds awful

I'm pretty lucky they don't bother me, and the top ones should be pretty easy to get out, but I think they'll have to cut the gums to get the bottom 2 out since they are only half way out.

Well, I haven't posted the picture...but I could. I'm feeling okay. My jaw is sore. The dentist prescribed Tylenol 3 and anti inflammation pills. They're probably going to expire. I can't complain to much today. We will see tomorrow evening. I'm attending a wedding (Portuguese) if I can't eat the seafood, well........

Roughly $1400 later...... Im just super happy that my wife and I have good Benifits from our jobs or else..... The dentist was bugging for a good 3 years to remove the teeth. My mouth was frozen but I did feel the dentist working in there. I didn't feel any pain what so ever but I did feel the teeth coming out.
