even if you do it at the dealership, unless you have Mazdaspeed springs, your warranty is voided on related suspension components.
And if you do have Mazdaspeed springs installed by dealership, the warranty is different, the details are on the TM3 somewhere, do a search.
I can't seem to schedule anything with Jimmy, been trying for a few days, but he must be really busy, hasn't called me back yet. Seems to be very upfront and honest when i spoke to him few weeks back, but difficult to schedule an appointment. I don't want to just "drop in" either as i need to get a brake swap and it's a lot of work/time consuming. Hopefully can get it done this weekend.
Derek, I work 5 minutes from Jimmy's. Send me a PM with the dates and times that work best for you and I can drop by and make an appointment for you. I'll confirm back by PM. I need to take my MS3 over to have Rich look at a small dent anyway.
Jimmy is always working on cars and rarely in the office...

Note that Jimmy's place is only open from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. That day is usually booked way ahead of time. Also, he may not be open on the Saturday of a long weekend......Jimmy and his crew like to enjoy an extra day off if they can get it!
Anyone know the hours of this place? Also, are they open on Saturdays? I'm in Waterloo and I'm heading to Scarborough to scope out a car - I want Jimmy to take a look at it!

I finally got a chance to meet Jimmy and Richard... Richard installed my HID kit and I was very pleased with their quality service and prices...
Will go back for any future mods even though it took me 2 hours to get back home today... It would be nice if they move their shop to west end...
My 24k service is coming up. If I have it service by Jimmy does it void my factory warranty? How much does it cost?

No, it will not void your warranty at all, but like any work done on your car, you should get Jimmy to give you a summary of the work performed on it and you should attach any receipts such as the oil you purchased etc. to this summary. That way, if there is ever a dispute, you can prove your car was serviced.
BTW- Jimmy uses OEM Mazda filters etc. for his oil changes, but I'd recommend switching to synthetic oil and simply buying your own and bringing it to him for the service. He will deduct it from the price he charges.
As for total price, only Jimmy can tell you, but it will be significantly less than what you would pay at any dealer, which charge about $200.00+ for the 24K service. When I say significantly less, trust me, I mean significantly less... Call him.
Sweet, thanks Zoom Zoom Boy
Had my magnum rotors/hawk pads installed last weekend by Jim! I must say, although the actual braking power of the hawk pads is only slightly better than stock, in combination with cross-drilled rotors, these pads cool down EXTREMELY fast! I can brake really hard and unlike stock brakes, can do it again 2 minutes later and it's just as powerful (not that i recommend doing this all the time). Very impressed, thanks a lot Jim, great work
Had a late night at Street Performance with Jimmy last night. Basically I just needed an oil change, but Jimmy being the cool guy he is, he told me to come at around 7PM. He was wicked busy as usual, but he stuck around and worked hard. He was able to get started on my car at 8 pm. Also had some other small electrical issues which he was able to take care of. I was out of there by 9 PM. I also had the chance to talk to him about future mods [which he will be doing over the winter ] Thank you Jimmy you are the best.
Gotta visit Jimmy for my 36k service and oil change....I am way overdue!
