Picked up my car, what next?

Hey Guys,

I've got a couple other threads going as well I appreciate all the help.

So again, I just picked up my car and I'm wondering what I should do next as far as rust proofing or anything else.

I have it on a 4 yr lease, and I don't know at this point if I will keep it or not... we will see.

But I'd love to hear any tips on what I should do now or later as far as keeping the car in prime condition. Also, I've noticed some people have cool looking decals on their cars? Are those removable (just in case I return the car at the end) and where do I get some?

The 2 things I found useful to get:

1. A nice dark Tint like 20% all around.

2. All-weather mats

Optionally winter tires on steelies for the winter season.

Get out to a big empty parking lot and just practice until you're comfortable with it.

Practice driving a car? I say get rims/tires first and then go from there. Also 5% tint all around would look nice!

Wait for mod itch.

Scratch mod itch.....until no longer itchy and/or it starts to hurt....

If/when it starts to hurt, scratch more conservatively.

This isn't just general advice I give. It's tailored to the individual!

Save your money, don't bother with the rustproofing if your not going to keep it.If you decide down the road to keep it, get it oil sprayed at Krown or Rustcheck....IMO best bang for the bucks mods are; rear sway bar, tint, exhaust....you'll have plenty of time to learn to drive it!

Speaking of which I have 2 sets of 6000k fog HIDs in my drawer... came out of a Camry with about 3 hrs total usage..

Going for $150 a set.

You can get some HID lights or just some super-white Halogen bulbs. I'm quite impressed with the super-white bulbs. Goes very well with my HIDs.

get urself a stubby to be off-stock looking first
unexpensive mod:
-stubby
-caliper paint
-interior LEDs
-decals

dont waste ur money on those xenon headlight bulbs of $20~50/set , it makes no difference compare ur stock light.
if u want to change color and brightness of headlight, go straight for HID $200~350 depends the brand

and avoid those cheap shiftknob that is universal fit.. it gets loosen very easy
