Hello everyone:

My friends dad runs an Advanced Driver Training School at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga. I have not had the chance to try it but from what I hear it's worth it. See below for all the details.

TMP Advanced Driver Training - 2007

Toronto Motorsports Park (TMP), Cayuga, is pleased to announce the continuance of its Advanced Driver Training (ADT) / Lapping Program. Participants will use their own technically inspected car. The Chief Instructor will be Gerry Low, a 25-year instructing veteran of numerous Advanced Driving School Programs.

The ADT curriculum is simple, a full day of personalized in-car and group classroom instruction. The emphasis of the Program will be to improve your driving skills, enhance your confidence, and increase your experience whether you are a Novice, Intermediate or Experienced driver. For Experienced Lappers, scheduled seat-time will yield Driving Proficiency. The first date is April 7, 2007 and the number of participants in each group is limited.
New for 2007 is an evening program. Same individual attention to each driver’s needs when the long summer hours permit.

Safety is paramount at TMP. The venue is safe, flat, and technical. Established Driving School Rules of Conduct will be strictly observed. As well, helmets and Vehicle Technical Inspection will ensure the safety of all participants and their vehicles. Your vehicle's insurance coverage is not valid during these TMP Advanced Driver Training sessions so extreme care and caution must be observed.

Toronto Motorsports Park is located near Cayuga, just south of Hamilton, Ontario. This developing Motorsport complex can be configured as two small circuits of 1.2 and 1.8 km each or one large 3 km road course. We will use the 3 km circuit. The paved surface is a safe flat design with good run-off room (one barrier) and excellent sight lines. The course has ample straights, challenging large and small chicanes, tight 90 degree and sweeping high speed turns. A truly good technical course.

4) June 15th, Friday
5) July 7th, Saturday - evening lapping and instructional program from 4 to 8pm
6) July 27th, Friday
7) August 17th, Friday
8) September 21st, Friday
9) October 20th, Saturday
10) November 10th, Saturday

The cost of each DAYTIME ADT and Lapper participant is $250 and $200, respectively (plus GST) and includes lunch. Time is from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
EVENING programs will be available from May to August. Time is from 4:00pm to just before dusk. Cost for the evening ADT and Lapper participant is $125 and $100, respectively.
