Default Why can mods post in a LOCKED thread?

Just curious. If a thread is LOCKED, doesn't that mean "End of Conversation"? So why is it that some mods feel the need to make use of their mod powers and get the last say on certain threads?

Whatever keeps Broli happy I guess.

    ok, problem solved!

    also, i didn't see a suggestion here!

if you want to start a thread that suggest that mods shouldn't be able to post in locked threads, please feel free to do so, as that is the appropriate use of the suggestion box!

i dont think that would be a good idea because on some occaisons, mods may need to post in a locked thread if the situation calls for it, this is not one of those occasions, but the time can arrise, so this is not a precedent setting event

    oh
