I must say though, I was VERY tempted, except I hit a few snags - logistics and estimated expenses were the main issues. I didn't want to drive on my own for 4 1/2 days one-way so I'd need to find other drivers who would be interested and have enough free time to at least go one-way and then fly back so I could have two different sets of friends each way. Cost would almost be the same as a return flight to Toronto as well, making it fairly expensive and time-consuming compared to that. I guess the worst part is that I've heard it isn't particularly exciting between Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario and if I had to drive to T.O., I'd logically have to drive back, doubling the massive boredom sections.

Final nail in the coffin for the idea was that I also already did a 3000km road trip with some BCMazda3 guys to and from Alberta in June. We visited some Edmontonian Mazda3 people (much smaller group than both Vancouver and Toronto, of course).
