icecubetray and I are booked for next Saturday.
Never thought I would go get a dyno while I'm still stock...but for that price...how can I not?
Oh, and he said about a half hour.
i'm taking my rsx there so i doubt my numbers would mean anything, but i'll post something away, atleast their process...
not sure if i mentioned this but, i'm going at noon tomorrow so anyone that wants to come can. i talked to them and they said that i can bring as many as i want.
its 10 mins away from me....i wish they were doing this in the summer instead.

i didnt go, decided to change my sparkplugs, as they were in bad shape, so that took a couple of hours running around to canadian tire and having to deal with retards that know nothing of wat their job entails....and i just went there for the plugs not even to install
just got back. WS3, you're right: the shop owner, Mel (really cool guy), sets everything up & you do the rest. i was a little tentative on the first pull b/c i wanted to shift effectively for the dyno to get the best results but he guided me through it. i asked him to do the final pull for me. all readings were in the same range. wasn't crazy-happy w/ my results but i learned a lot, ie, Mazdaspeed turbos need to GET BIGGER.
but all & all, happy with the process, the shop, & Mel. results to follow..
cool, did you do 4th gear pulls? I have a long PC mic if you have a laptop and want to record the sri and make a video like the one i did for my ms cai:

yeah, i did the 4th gear pulls.. but there's a trick to it, at least for a dyno newbie. shifting gears has to be done smoothly, at about 2000RPM from 1st onwards till you hit 4th & drop the shit out of it. we did four pulls, one failed due to a minor fastening issue. it was safe and Mel was honest... reminds me of Jimmy from StreetPerformance in that respect.
i don't have a laptop, man, but thanks for offering. i'm gonna video it w/ my backup digicam and tinker w/ it tonight. if the upload to youtube is a success, i'll post it.
