Thorton Electric Supercharger: Joke or Scam??

Someone asked me about these things.

As I went through everything that was wrong with them, there just seemed to be too much so I started to wonder whether they were actually trying to scam people, or whether the whole thing was just a joke.

Now I've noticed that they're actually paying Google to run ads, so I believe it really is a scam and they're taking money from people!

For shame!

The funny thing is that I've added a section devoted exclusively to them on my HowTo pages. Now, when you search Google for Electric Superchargers, their link comes up at the top under "sponsored links" and is followed immediately by mine, telling everyone they're scammers.

Wonder how well their advertising dollars are paying off?

what a nice write up and nicely done! even the name "electric supercharger" sounds funny and cheesy to me
