Brake pads and rotor replacement ...where to go in TO/Markham?

Hi all,

Newbie to this forum. Seems like an awesome place!

I need to get the brake pads and rotor replaced on my wife's Mazda3. Was wondering if any one of you could point me to a reliable/trusty shop/mechanic that would do a good job. I could easily take it to a dealer, but I think they usually overcharge and sometimes do a poor job.

Any suggestions or pointers are greatly appreciated!!

Here's what I would recommend.

Get a set of OEM rotors from Joe at Mazda of Toronto (be sure to ask for the TM3 discount).

Get a set of Hawk HPS pads, from me of course.

Get Jimmy to install it all, best install pricing around

Thanks all for your replies. I think I will give Motor workshop first, as it is right near my wife's work! Does VIncent carry OEM parts as well? I heard the Markham Mazda service department next door was lousy!

Vincent can get OEM parts.
Although, most of use would tell you not to use stock pads.

I would first suggest checking with the sponsors on this forum. Myself, I tend to buy my stuff from Sherman at Speedtech in Markham (noting you mentioned the Markham area).

I got my front/rear rotors and pads from Sherman. I got rotors that the prelude guys use (that's what Sherman said) and hawk pads.

Then went to motor workshop for the install.

You can order brake pads from SSG since he's located in markham and you can pick it up from him then head to motor workshop.
