If you guys want to see how the new 2010 mazda 3 performs on the 2.5L engine. Go test drive the 4 banger new mazda 6. Same engine as the new 3,it has 170hp, and it sure is a peppy one. I bet it will be quicker on the lighter, new mazda 3 chassis, cause the mazda 6 is like a boat now. HUGE! and a full 70L tank when i drove it. Still impressive imo.

Any chance of getting a look at the trunk popper on a 2009 sedan? I'd like to see where things are wired up. Would need to r&r the trunk lid liner (easy, just to do, zero risk of damage) and the cover on the PJB.

Take a look at this rendering guys. It's actually based on the Patent filed in Europe. TheBiz has seen the new 3, does it get any closer to what you saw Jeff?

most of the body looks the same as the current model except for the front end. And man what a weird looking front end that is!

Let's hope that's NOT the final product.

The perspective in the original rendering looks way, way off, at least on the front end. I think it'll be close to that, but the perspective skewing makes it look pretty ugly.

irst you gotta ask yourself which model are you comparing the acceleration to. Mazda 3 has a heavy chassis and undercarriage so don't expect it to fly off the blocks.s for the AT-i, its kind of a semi manual shifter whereby you do not have any clutch to step on. Just switch to the + and - found on the gearbox and you are ready to go. Its quite a good feature whereby when you need to drop a gear, shift to - and the car shifts down immediately. Enjoy your Mazda 3 should you get one!
