Front Grill - Silver to Black?

Hello, I have an 07 Mazda 3 Sedan in black with this front grill:

Does anyone know where I can get the one like the 2008.5 which is black and not chrome, or the ones in the GT models (I think) like this:

Or does anyone have one of these two and want a chrome one?

i painted my chrome grill/mazda logo black. i can upload a pic if you'd like.

Please post pictures. How did you paint it and what type of paint did you use?

You will most likely need to paint it, IIRC, the grill on the 08.5 GT is one piece (part of the entire bumper.)

No, on the 2004 to 2006 it was a different grill, removeable.

Really depends on what you have, on whether or not you can swap.

I have a 2007, that all one piece too?

if you have the chrome grill, you can remove it.
you can remove the grill itself. the chrome strip and the emblem both come off too.

and for painting it, i just sanded it down to rough it up, shot it was a coat of primer, and few coats of whatever colour u want (i went with black), then i shot it with a few coats of clear coat.

i'll upload some pics either later on tonite, or sometime tomorow.

I really wanted the one like the one on Jeff's car but I will settle for the chrome to black after seeing some pics....I think.. What type of paint did you use?

some universal gloss black paint.
i can take some pics tomorow morning, before i head out.
