    Ouch.

I found a chunk of metal and paint missing from my passenger side door will which I am at a loss as to how it even happened. Thankfully its an area I don't care about so I just caked the area with paint using my so called Graphite Mica (38R) paint pen. Looks like shiiierrttttt.

I unscrew the tip of the paint pen and dip a tiny paint brush in and use that to touch up. Anyone who's ever built a model car or something similar will know the tiny-ness of the brush I'm talking about. Much more control than the pen itself.

Its not the level of difficulty to use the pen, its that the paint is never right. The 38R paint looks more like the 38P paint.

I used a paint pen on a few stone chips, worked out fairly well.... maybe your method of tossing it out didnt work so well.

The old ones are actually usable, the new ones are just a metal tip... Very similar to a real pen. Effective on paper. Useless on automobiles.
