Fogs as DRL

So either I suck at searching... or this question hasn't been asked in a while.

On my focus, a quick wireing job in place of the fuse swapped my low beams for my fogs as DRLs. Everything else was BAU for the fogs... the only difference was that they were DRLs for the fogs.

Is there anyway to do this on the 3?

For ref, this was the mod for the Focus:

2. Open fuse box and locate R13 according to the map on the fuse box cover

3. Pry, pull, or otherwise remove Relay #R13 from it's socket. It is in there tight but it comes out!

4. Cut a length of wire about 2 inches long. Strip the ends and crimp a spade lug to each end.

5. Push the lugs in to connect the two parallel sockets (not the 3 parallel ones).

sorry... lack of editing ability.

I've read the 2 options on M3F for indy fogs... but they don't have DRLs. It looks like they're just gaining the ability to turn the fogs on with the headlights off. Which means we'd be cruising around with our lows and fogs on all the time

but what i did i just swap the fog lights and and my low beams, since then its been working perfectly and no problem at all

Thanks for your help. Was the walkthrough you used the first link in the thread? It oddly just takes me to the front page for M3F.

I did poke around through that thread and came close... seems like Skarbro and McGuyver got it all figured out... I could only find something on how they got the Highs to work as DRLs though.

Admittedly... I'm not good enough with wireing to reverse engineer what they did.
