Is it possible to make something run as DRL and work with headlights?

Kind of a confusing question, and i dont really know how the lighting works enough to figure this out on my own, but i was wondering if i would be able to have something setup to run as my DRL (its going to be angel eyes) but i want them to work when the headlights are on as well. so essentially i want them to turn on when my car turns on and turn off when it goes off, so they're always running.

Yes, you have them powered by a relay, and the trigger for the relay is an ignition source (a source that is on when the key is turned on).

if you have independent fog lights, then you can wire the angel eye onto them and they will be on as long as the foglight switch is on.

if you DONT have indy fog mod, then i suggest you do it (there is a couple of DYIs on the board somewhere)

if i were to do this how would i disable DRL then? i want the angel eyes to always be on, but i want them to be used as my DRL as well in replace of the headlight

I just did angel eyes and independent fog light mod yesterday and
here's what I did.

1. I did indpendent fog first,
2. then disabled DRL with just pluuging out the DRL fuse
3. wired angel eyes to power source as DRL

p.s.
- you should wire the angel eyes to an empty fuse slot, NOT DRL fuse slot. If you do,
then you won't be able to turn angel eyes off even if engine's off. Since you wire them
to the empty slot, angel eyes turns on whenever engine's on)

- wire fog lights to DRL slot, then you will be able to turn it off with switch. if you keep
the switch's on, fog's on even if engine's off

does the DRL fuse change by years? i have an 08. and would you have a picture of what fuse it is?

If you see inside the fuse box cover, it says DRL for the slot.
