    Default Turbo Timer Install

    Hi there,

I have a A'pexi auto timer, and i was wondering if there are any mechanics in Toronto that are experienced in the installation. Because when I read the instructions, it says that the turbo timer may screw up the remote door lock auto light systems, etc. Thanks guys

TT blue wire also to thick red wire
TT green wire to green/yellow wire
TT black grounded to a bolt upper-right of the pedals.

Nope. It only takes 30 - 60 secs tops before cooling turbo and thats it.

it's useful when you really have to take a shit and you rushed home, and don't wanna cook your turbo cuz you redlined down your street, I suppose...

There is some debate, it's said that since our turbos are water cooled it's not necessary. My opinion is, it's a $100 mod... no big deal, that's cheap insurance just in case you end up cooking the oil lines in your turbo.
Also if anything HEHE it makes the chicks wonder why you're leaving your car and it's running with the key out of the ignition and the door locked... that's when you say "It's a Turbo thing baby... now shut up and look pretty"...

but its always the dumb ones that ask you that.
what do you mean a turbo timer??
    what?
    i dont understand?
    whats a turbo?
and why is your car running?
why did it just shut off?

but still, even if you do manage to cook the turbo, why not just warranty it?

    LOL
As for turbo warrant, we all know that they will likely blow after the warranty is over - that's typical. So, $100 is cheaper then extended Mazda Warranty.
Installed my Apexi TT with Theurgy, had fun and works great.

Hey baby, it's a turbo thing, LOL LOL
