    Default Service Shop Recommendation

    My 2005 Mazda 3's warranty's over.
So now I have no need to go back to the dealer to do my servicing.
I've been ripped off by Mazda of Toronto too many times.
Can anyone suggest a good/honest shop around the same area?
    I live Sheppard/Yonge.
Alternative would be somewhere near my work, Leslie/Hwy7.
Hi-tech Auto on West Beaver Creek would be closest to my work place, but can't find any reviews on it. http://www.hitechauto.ca/

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Go to street performance. Not far from your area, and you can't beat Jimmy. Here are some reviews:http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/sh...et+performance

A quick look at that thread, it seems like the shop does mainly installs of "special" parts and such.
Would they do more mundane jobs that I regularly do while following the M3 servicing schedule?
oil changes, tire rotations, winter/summer tire switching...

The tire switching one I'm planning on doing along side with the next servicing.

yep, Jimmy does regular service work as well. He's been doing regular service on my mothers Corolla for about 18 months now.

yea...I'm too lazy to look into how to do them.
Plus I live in a condo...and I can't really do much at the underground parking.
Don't wanna make a mess, and have management come after me.
Also it's not leveled...so no tire changing...

    kinda a noob question....but..
with this whole doing service at a garage thing...does that mean that now I'll have to follow through with the M3 servicing schedule myself and tell Jimmy which items I want to do for each time?
Also would he tell me if something aside from the items I told him to do looks wrong and needs fixing? (like what bad mechs do to get more money, but more in a truth and honest way....)

If the car is under warranty then yes. You have to follow their recommended maintenance schedule for them to cover any issues that may arise under warranty. Even if your car is no longer under warranty I would hope that you would follow the schedule at the very least to keep your car running properly.

If you decide to skip out on the schedule and do the repairs as they come then the best of luck to you. Cars that are regularly maintained last longer and have fewer major problems down the road.

I don't see why not. Jimmy is a pretty good guy with a great reputation on this board.
