Just bought new coils, AWR rmm and brand new front and rear drilled, slotted black rotors and pads. Gonna look fresh as the fresh prince.
Anybody know if removing the stock brake dust shield for the car is that harmful? Mine look like garbage and I want to replace them but replacements are like $200 brand new and there is no way in hell I am paying that.
It helps to keep a lot of crap off the rotors, especially in the wet, it helps braking performance...it also keeps rocks from getting constantly caught in the caliper. I wouldn't get rid of them. Just pull em and give them a coat of black paint...or see if you can find a set from a wrecker.

I know specifically what they do, just kinda curious if anyone removed them and had any particularly bad experiences. My junkyards in the area all have terrible ones all rusted out(I've checked) and I don't really want to buy new ones. My current ones are half rusted off so sanding and painting them would be kind of useless.
God I hope these taste the same
But at the same time - I'm hoping they don't ... or it's bye bye diet...
I was pleasantly surprised by them. They were pretty close. Your thoughts? @Default User

Just ordered a Autel TS401 TPMS reader...I have Techstream already for programming the Lexus, but needed something to grab sensor id's when I swap winter to summer. Will be handy going forward to be able to grab sensor id's and if the vehicle has re-learn procedures it will at least guide through that. The ones that program themselves are like 4-5 times the price :|
wife picked up a table from a lady in town. got to talking to her. some how got on the topic of video games. she showed me what he son had, sadly found out he passed away in sept from an accidental drug overdose. he was 22 and she knew nothing about it but wanted to start clearing up his stuff.. so i got a white ps4 with 3 games and a controller for $100. she also had an xbox 360 and a ps2. even though i had ps2 games. i was tryign to sell them. but. because of the steal she gave me on the ps4 i sold her ps2 and so far some of the xbox games. she didnt seem to know much about it all but wouldnt let me give her more. figured it was the least i could do.

If you're in my area sometime, feel free to pop in and I can pull the id's for you.
Toyota's seem to need to be programmed into the ecu from what I've seen, you can't do an on-vehicle re-learn sadly. I bought a mini VCI from china that came with a copy of an older version of techstream.
Does this count as a "mod"?
