^^ Yes ...we already got that you bought new rims...but you dont have to post them on every single thread...you even made your own thread show casing them

If they were some kind of like Real TE37 then maybe ..just maybe you can post them on every thread..

Good price! I need a ladder

I see the fancy bendable ones go for $100 on sale sometimes - but never pull the trigger on it. Always worried that the lock mechanism would fail

I have one of those bendy ones, the mechanisms lock in in such a way that even if they "fail" they won't let the ladder move. Also when using it as a regular ladder, you can pull the latches on the locks and it won't fall over.

That said, they're bulky/heavy/awkward and a regular step ladder like he just got is nicer 9 times out of 10.

Yeah I know! The 6 ft is plenty of height for what I'll be doing around the house. I saw a 3 ft for $78 plus tax and as soon as I saw the deal I couldn't resist

this doesn't really fit in the home theater thread, but i replaced the broken 29$ needle on a perfectly good turntable that a neighbour was throwing out.
I'm running it through my mirage bookshelf speakers and entry level 30W Pioneer amp. I'm new to audio stuff,so my record collection is tiny lol. My dad started it in April with his original dark side of the moon, and i picked up a slightly warped Led Zeppelin LP last night for 5$. Sounds good so far

sorry for bad pics, lighting was not good

I think my dad used to have one very similar to that. Wish we still had it sometimes. The quality of it was by far better than anything I could buy today.

Led Zeppelin 1..what an amazing album. I spent months looking for a good copy and I finally found one. It was easily 10/10 mint condition no scratches on the vinyl...best $75 I've spent.

Mine was 5 bucks so you can imagine the warp. Good times bad times plays fine but on the B side, the warp is more prominent. The first song skips as the warp pops the needle upand over.
    DSOL was a good album.

Depending on how adventerous you are you can flatten the record in your oven. http://www.ehow.com/how_7718869_unwa...yl-record.html

check out the Spin Clean system for cleaning records. It's the cheapest thing that I've found but it works extremely well. http://www.spincleanrecordwasher.com/

We had the Pioneer SX-650 and SX-780's growing up, cool old receivers. Always lusted over an SX-1980.

I have an SX-535 that I bought for $35 and restored to working order:

But I would gladly trade my left arm for an SX-1980...270 watts of vintage power per channel

I found my receiver in the basement of wrap it up gift cards which was at Sunnybrook when the store went under. I was paid to clean it out, and also snagged my mirage bookshelf speakers for free. It all works great for an apt. Bedroom.
Sorry to get off topic, I'll start up a thread if it continues.
