thanks angry ! reason why there is such a lack of a mixed population of people in orangeville is because there is a lack of public transit out or into the city. same with Georgetown or any small area town. if you cant afford a car or to drive then you need to live somewhere that has the transit. pretty straight forward i thought..
so most of the people buying out of the city are buying for investment and when it gets finished or built they flip it and never move from where they currently live
nothing dumb about that. those people are smart. and if they live in the house with the parents and more family members they have a disposable cash that they can do this. i wish i had got a house with my inlaws. id have a larger home. paid off. and money sitting around that in the smaller upcoming areas i could put money down and buy a house or two that is being built and sell it when its done and make 50k + per house
so if like ranjin said the brown folks refinanced their houses at the peak and put deposits down on hoses in every small town. but those people are not moving. or most of them wont. there is nothing in lots of small towns to do, and most of it they dont want to do.
but hey if all thats dumb to you then im dumb. JB out
@2012mazda3hatch @jay93 @pwdunmore i hate everyone equally @m_bisson and your not? lol dont even know who you are person or background. but everyone hates someone or somebody. i hate everyone so its ok. but im speaking on the whole.. every wonder why theres.. mostly white people in georgetown. colling wood. wasaga. ? not racist to say so. because thats the way it is. sure isnt racist to point it out that the white board is white.. but why isnt it black oh yes a black white board cuz that makes sense. thats why there is a black board..

There's nothing wrong with saying it how it is. I wouldn't call it racism. Stereotyping...profiling - sure. But not racism.
Just like there's all of 6 white families in my kids school. Went to my nephews grade 8 grad - and there's 1 white kid.
Eventually, they'll all move to neighbourhoods out east or up north. It is what it is.

@Booter22 I know you hate everyone equally... but we still love you
Being racist and saying something mildly hilarious are two completely different things.

@booster22... I'm white and live in Guelph, and I lived in Georgetown for 10 years... there is no public transit in Georgetown, and the current mayor will not allow it to come. In Erin, I don't think I have seen any different cultures other than white. I had one neighbour who moved from brampton, and they moved back within a couple months. My aunt (who is Indian) has family in Texas, and they come to brampton to buy Indian wedding gifts because there are so many shops up here rather than in Texas. I have no problem with brown/yellow/green or whatever colour you are... In this day in age, I feel like no one can say anything without someone getting offended. Thanks

I will address this once since I brought it to attention.
This is the post that I said you sound incredibly dumb @Booter22 maybe you just don't know how to communicate. If can't see what is possibly wrong with this post then I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe it wasn't right to say you sounded dumb, but rather should have said you sounded ignorant.
Pretty sure @rajin929 was being very sarcastic with his post. But of course he can correct me if I'm wrong.
Understanding that sense of humour is subjective, I can assure you I have a sense of humour and did not find this mildly funny.
I have no idea what the relevance of anything you've said is other to jump in with your 2 cents in support because you were tagged.
Don't confuse being offended with taking a stand against something, that's the reason I am the moderator and you are not. Thanks.
@Default User I believe you and I grew up with a very similar school of thought. There is a difference between calling things for what they are, which I believe we do, and the exact stereotyping and profiling that you mentioned in your post. For what it's worth, I was not the one who brought racism into this, but I did want to address the generalization of people that was evident in the post. Continue to say it as it is, but when you cross the line that's where I step in. Similarly I expect that people will keep me in check sometimes too.
I've bolded and underlined an example of where your generalization, let's call it, in my opinion has crossed the line. Don't insult a group of people then in the same breath make it seem like you're praising those same people. That falls into the category of being ignorant, poor communication, etc.
I agree we all have our own prejudices, even if they are subconscious...doesn't make it acceptable.
Your white board black board analogy made no sense by the way.
Hope this clears everything up. If anyone has any issues feel free to speak to someone else from the mod team @S.F.W. @Aitch @Mr Wilson @natspriceless @cwp_sedan @FD22 @Jeff-TheBiz

Not even sure if it fits my truck - but I grabbed this at a garage sale for ridiculously wicked cheap.
purchased one of those curved out shower rods yesterday. man what a difference feels like so much more room in the shower. in case anyone needed anything home outfitters is closing and changing under a hudson bay store. so there is crazy savings on everything. we ended up buying $620 worth of stuff and saved $220 on everything. so paid 400 bucks. was a pretty good deal

At Simply tire waiting for a new set of wheels. Pictures will be up soon!

Just bought some new spark plugs for my skyactiv from Rock auto. Paid 40$ delivered to my door... dealer wanted 240$ to replace them.
Engine mount and spark plugs.
Mount installed today and runs smoother now. Plug go in tomorrow. hopefully better fuel economy and a little more pep in the step.
Slowly upgrading all the bits I find on this used car I bought to keep the maintenance up to date.
New rear bumper! I'm totally in love with it and as much as I keep saying it's for next year @S.F.W. is taking bets that I can't hold off that long lol.
Picture doesn't do it justice...soooo much sexier in real life
My Parents bought me more Hot Wheels than Barbies when I was little...
