If using longer studs, open ended is a good idea for when you remove the spacers, or else you will need to remove the studs and swap smaller ones back in.

I know rpf1 17x9 +45 will work on a genwon speed... with fender roll (and maybe pull). To be safe I was told I may need 10mm spacers to clear the strut. Just to add to the discussion and clarify somethings.... i'll need extended studs, and new lug nuts when I run these wheels?

Think most can get away with 5mm spacers on the front, which wouldn't require extended studs. Most likely you will need a tuner style lug.

you can go a max of an 8mm spacer on stock studs. but i wouldnt recommend it. run a 5mm and you will be safe. ebay is a good place to start looking for spacers. or any performance part shop. ie. jspec, JRP etc.

Good quality spacers are a must... eBay is good yes however make sure you are getting what you expect and not a cheap knock off....

I found these RMX wheel spacers that 'should' work with mz3 because they are the same specs... but are for the Hyundai genesis . They are about $100 a pair for 15mm to 38mm and seem like a good make:

They are also located in the 416

Also for the torque and such on the lugs, I just researched this the other day as I changed out my rims and needed tuner lugs. Book shows 66-86 fl/lbs of torque. I used 80lbs since it is easy to remember.

I ordered a set of Enkei Raijin, they come in today (18x8, 45mm offset).. Am I gonna need new lugs or anything special? I'm no enthusiast of rims whatsoever

I believe you can use oem, however they are very large and your wheel might be scratched when you try and take them off. I'd suggest aftermarket tuner lugs
