Nope.

I personally went with Shokits, but after installation, regret not buying it from Japanparts. The kit that I got, colour was off and it set the DIN kenwood deck too far out for my liking. I'll post a picture when I get the chance.

The japanparts one, I assume I need to get one in "piano black" to match the black matte colour in my 05 GS?

It doesn't look like it comes with a pocket to replace the LCD above the stock stereo does it? Can you just purchase a replacement trim piece which covers out the LCD / Pocket area?

I believe there's the regular matte black kit. Just make sure the faceplate has the two attachment points for screws at the top of the unit. You use the existing stereo deck bracket that came with the OEM deck and it also holds the LCD in place. This applies to my 07, so other years may differ.
