New here... but not an owner!

Hey guys and gals!

Dont gang up on me... but I'm not a Mazda owner (Ive got a Magnum). But I did help my brother buy his first new(er) car today. We took a drive to Ajax Mazda, and ended up getting a Mazda 3 GX sedan.

I've been involved with car clubs with the past and current cars I've had, but my brother has never really been into it much. I'm going to try and change his mind though.

He doesnt pick up the car until Wednesday, but I already have the itch to get him a few simple (cheap mods). With that being said... other than the usual K&N filter suggestions, what are a few simple/easy/cheap mods that can be done with his car?

depends, mods for cosmetics? or mods for performance? You can get him an intake which will most likely cause him to consume more gas but increase the "fun" of driving.

I dont think he's much into performance... although I'm going to try and talk him into it. I mean personally... I would stick to mostly cosmetic if I were him. If he wanted performance, I dont think he would have got a GX (not trying to flame... just sayin).

Most likey an intake would be the most he'd get for performance mods. It doesnt have factory fogs, so thats one possibilty. Are there any better aftermarket fog kits out there?


...on a side note.. I havnt been able to find the option.... but is it possible to organize posts so the first post is the first one in the thread displayed, and not on the last page?

Get him an HID low beam kit so he can see better at night. Second on the list is a good rear sway bar to improve steering response and feel.

That should keep him happy if he is not into modding.
