Where is the best place to get your windows tinted? How much does it cost (all in)? Is it hard to see out of?

audio haven does good work, most tint shops difer in price from the best ive seen at 150-the worst ive seen at 300, i got mine for 175 cash

+1 for Audio Heaven...although something weird is going on with my back window tints that needs to be checked out as soon as my car returns from the body shop.

20% all around....not hard to see out at all.

Just put what ever shade you want...it's up to the cops discreation if he wants to pull you over and fine you for having drak tint..even if the legal limint you can still get a ticket if the cop wants to

True...although if the officer is able to see the vehicle occupants and see light through the windows, you can easily fight any ticket and win with a photo of the car and most cops won't even bother issuing you a ticket if they can see through the tints...

I was recently pulled over by a routine RIDE check on a highway on ramp in my MS3. It was at dusk and my MS3 is black. The tints aren't that dark, 35% front, 23% rear, but the officer gave me a hard time originally because the time of day made the tints look darker and angle he was looking at from next to the car, made it look like he couldn't see through them. He walked back a few feet and then said, it was okay, the tints were fine, he could see through them.

So, it is an officer's discretion, but I think you'd be safe from all but the biggest jerk's if you can see light through them...

ive seen good things come out of Tint King, but pretty much anywhere will do a good job as long as its not one of those 99$ tint jobs then you shoud be fine.

I've had my tints for about three years now (done at Tint King) and was pulled over only once because the cop was bored... It was around 3:00am and he pulled me over because he "couldn't see what's going on inside of my car'... he let me go with a warning...
my tints are 20% all around (35% is legal like someone already mentioned but there's not much of a difference)...

btw the cop told me that he could have given me $50 ticket...

I make it a point to roll my window all the way down before the officer has walked up to my car. if at night, turn on map lights and dome light as well. Daytime, open sunroof if you have it.

19% tint, never had problems because I never give them the chance to test it.

It's also a good idea to turn your car off and place both hands on the steering wheel. Traffic stops are one of the most dangerous situations a cop can get into. If he/she can see into the car and knows where your hands are it will put the officer at ease right away. As I understand it I think the law states that you can't have any sort of aftermarket film on the passenger and driver windows. But cops generally use their discretion on whether or not they can see into the vehicle.

i got 23% all around at audio heaven, it looks pretty sick.
i didn't do lighter in the front because i like the uniform look.
my mazda is true red, and when coupled with the dark tint, real sexy.

however when i drive at night, i find it is a bit too dark for my liking.. maybe its just me. just something to consider if you end up wanting 23%!

Wow hard to see at night with 23%? Maybe on side streets with no lights, downtown driving is super easy to see, and I have 17% all around....
