I sent one of my good friends a cellphone pic of my car.. and he goes and starts calling it a ricer. cracking jokes left and right...

I'm sorry though i can't see the rice..

Rice to me is those damn civics with shit falling out of their asses

He drives a 2005 civic 4 door, and a 2008 camry..


The only rice i could see on my car is tinted tails and blue interior lights..

This is a very long drawed out debate which I'm sure has been touched upon on multiple threads. When it comes down to it, everyone has their own opinion of what a ricer is; what one person considers rice.. another would consider JDM.... or a tuner.... or a gino.... or whatever else you can think of.

If you're happy with your own ride then that's all that should matter.

A lot of people would call lower end japanese cars that are modded rice. Your tail lights really give off the rice vibe. Thats probably why.

I think it's far from being rice. Tell your friend to go on the internet a bit and research it before he makes comments. Although it may be a subjective thing you still have to go with the deffinition of the masses.

Your car looks pretty good from what I can make out, nice, clean simple mods.

I'm totally happy with my car as it is right now. So i don;t really care what he or anyone else thinks.. It's just that he calls me rice i wonder what he thinks of all those civics and accords that are done up with body kits that are falling off, and those huge ass bazooka's as mufflers thats all.

I continually debate the tinted tails lol, some days i like it other days i dont..

The other thing you have to realize is, to the untrained ear, ALL aftermarket exhausts are rice. Most people can't tell the difference between a farting muffler and a complete catback.

Don't let haters get to you. Its your car and you can customize it as you wish. My "mature" friends have called my car rice and I don't have one aftermarket part on it (most of my mods are OEM).
