Default Tint - dark in the back, light in the front

Does anybody have a pic of a black mazda3 with dark tint in the back and light in the front? Im thinking of going 17% in the back and 35% in the front at AH, but im not sure yet. A picture would really help.

    +1 search.

On a side note, I have 17%rear and 23% front. I posted a pic of my car. I'm just too lazy to search now.

Personally i would go darker than 35%. I have 15% back window and 20% on the doors. If you wanted to lighten it up a little i would say 20% all around

My Black Mica with 35% front and 5% rear. If you do 5% in the back (which is great), do 23% or darker in the front.

I'm tinting my windows next week. At night how hard is it to see out your back window with 5%?

On my Mitsubishi I have a lighter tint on my back window and limo tint (not sure what %) on the back sides.

I ended up going with 20% (fronts) and 5% (rears). Check the 5th pic here

It's darker than having no tints, but worth it.

How much did you guys pay for your tint.

I was quoted under $400.00 for supreme tint, lifetime warranty.

I paid $250 cash for 35% front and 20% back. A little conservative with tint darkness being pulled over once and asked about the darkness of the tint. Not to mention, in the Grand Am I used to have with 15% fronts and 10% back (about 12 yrs ago) I had to unroll the windows when parking in my apartment parking lot just to see where I was going!!

I knew I should have done a preview post before the last post that didn't display my pic in HTML format....oh well. Sorry the pic is small! Again, 35% front and 20% back

I'd suggest dark all the way around... I went with 20% all the way around.. my only regret was not going darker all the way around

I did 20% all around and am pleased with it. I was debating between 35% or 20% but 35% is way too light and personally, I feel anything darker than 20% will be hard to see...especially in underground parking lots

What kind of area do you live in - how leniant are the cops?
no matter how dark or light - Tint is a real grey zone according the HTA and depending on the officer - can slap you with a nice fine.

I would love to limo tint all windows including the front windshield - but I do a lot of night driving and reversing is more than just a pain in the arse especially when it's barely lit outside. (camping, night fishin)

That being said - 20% all around has always been my choice
$400+ is waaay to steep. It should be in the 200-250 range

that would be cool to tint all windows including the windshield. however, unfortunately the only part of the front windshield that can be tinted is the top "sun visor" portion.

You guys have it good in Toronto...got my Mazda 3 tinted today in Calgary.

Only got the back windows and the eyebrow as the front drivers window and passenger window is illegal no matter what percentage in Alberta: $75.00 fine per window.

I went with 15 tint and it cost me before tax $350.00

No the police fine is $115.00 for tinting the two front windows which works out to around $75.00 per window, so it's not worth risking the fine.

I went with 20% all around, personally I like the "evenness" of the tint.

And for the laws in Calgary... That blows! Seriously....
