Hi everyone;
I have a 2007 Mazda 3 GS that is making an awful noise starting around 60km/h +. Anyone else have the wheel bearings fail after 100,000km +? Also, it seems this will be covered as I bought the MAP, is this correct?

It could be wheel bearings or your tires are wearing form an alligment issue..i thought my wheel bearings were going cause my car was getting way to loud and when i took it in it was my tires that caused ever the noise casue my alliment was off..now i got to listen to the noise until my tires where out.and their brand new
And yes your MAP warranty should cover it..take it to your local dealer
Good luck

2009 Mazda3 Sport GT
2006 Nissan Xterra Offroad
why didn't i do it in the driveway? i didn't wanna bother with press fit bearings banging them in teh driveway!
mazda lover...bearings aren't cheap to replace as a general rule to start!
Sounds like Mazda makes weak bearings. You may let the bearings go a short while longer BUT...listen very carefully:
If the bearings are actually failing, don't wait too long. Broken bearings will damage the inside of the hub if left too long, meaning replacement of hubs...meaning much more MONEY!
or....worst case, wheels falling off....why you dont mess around with wheel bearings
