    Default Hello from Mississauga

    Hey guys, been lurking on here since I got my car in late August. It's an '05 3 GT with the GFX package. Pretty damn slick car. It's also my first MT car, which I pretty much mastered after about a month (haven't stalled since first two weeks of driving it). Anyways, looking to start doing some modifications/upgrades for the summer. The first and only thing I have done thus far, was upgrade the deck (iPod connectivity was a must).

    So far, I'm looking for some nice all-weather mats, new pedals (been eying that Mazda3 set, with dead pedal) and also possibly a new shift knob.

    The best all weather mats, by far, are Weathertech Digitalfits. I only got the front two, but they're way better than any regular mat. After that, I always recommend this unless paint chips are not a big issue - 3M clearbra or ventureshield + mudflaps. I just -hate- getting paintchips with a passion lol. Then go with 23% tints and new rims. I made a solution for the dead pedal... cheap, extremely effective and very low-key, it's in the modification section under the thread "Razo dead pedal". Basically it's bullnose stairtread from Home Depot, cut to fit and taped on with carpet tape. Just had some rain over the week and the dead pedal cover is working exactly as intended - all the dirt and crap stays on the rubber and does not soak into the carpet.
