    Post My HID install...

Hey guys, so i purchased my HID kit today from one of the sponsors =)
They are 6000k, 35w HID kits.

I was confused with how all the wiring was to be done so I read some how-2s on this forum.

Anyways, I got everything hooked up and tested it out. the lights turned on so I think I did everything correctly.

I really like the brightness. I'm not a fan of the halogen fogs though, I'll probably change that out soon. the fogs are really yellow compared to these.

Here's some pictures of how I mounted it...and some poor shots of how it looks. haha...

    enjoy,

    Tommy.

I double sided tapped the ballast onto the fuse box and pinched all the wires into the gutters so it looks clean. plus i zipped tied most of it down. I use the wiring harness as well, I grounded it with one of the other grounded wires.

then the long extension to the other side, i sliped it under the hood. it goes all the way to the passenger side. I'm not sure if you can see it, but its near the windshield.

that coiled up cable near the back is the wiring harness that goes to the other passenger side ballast.

Here you see the passenger side ballast. that got double sided tapped to the car. i hope it sticks. >.<!

Here's another shot of the passenger side balast.

Here's some pics of in car and outside shots. sorry for the blurr haha

I have pretty much the exact same car as you and I had Dan install my HID kit and if you're not too sure if the ballast will stay in place and thinking of relocating them, Dan put the driver side ballast between the fuse box and the side of the car (fits nice and snug in that gap), you might want to put it there so you don't have to stick it on top of the fuse box (makes it a little more hidden). On the passenger side one he found a nice spot hidden beneath everything and I think it was stuck onto a ledge there. Let me know if you want pics of where my ballast are located.

    Hey!

Would you be able to snap pics for me? I would love to see how everything is set up. I didn't know where to put the ballasts and I tried my best....
plus it was really cold outside that night. hahah...if you could, post those pics or PM me those photos and I will try and see what I can do to make it less visible. XD

    Thanks,
