what tires are most recommended for this rim sizing? Not lowered, 2nd gen hatch... I've been told it will be fine, just wondering if anyone here says different/ will I need to roll my fenders or anything... Thx!

Not 100% true. But at stock height yes you should be fine with that.

I think 2010~present Kia Cerato OEM rims will fit also, that is if what I read was accurate.

I'm looking at a set of Work Emotion XT7 rims, 18x7.5, +42 offset. I know the first page stated +47 to +52, so is +42 pushing it? I'd love to pick these up if I can.

Likely 225/40/18. I'm just a bit worried that if I decide to lower my car there will be issues. Thanks zzz3

You'll be fine at pro-kit hight. Heck I managed to fit 18x9 +45 with 235/40/18 and there is not rubbing or issues (and I am dropped 1.75"). The 2nd gen wheel well is much bigger than first gen

I think those old Mercs use 5x108 bolt patterns (not sure though)

But If so - then, no

you might need front camber plates.. Trust me the rears are easy peasy, but the fronts a very different story.

Dont quote me because i am no suspension expert, but i think you would need coilovers with camber to adjust at the front...

    What's the offset?
I'm not sure you can out camber plates on stock struts. But I would think not.

It was 35 on a 17x8.25... you guessed it my plan was xxr... I spoke with a couple of guys, and they said there is camber plates to adjust stock struts on selective cars, but havent confirmed if Mazda3 is one of them.

I believe it's a +45 offset. I'll do some rescerch when I can. Would 18x8.5 +45 be fine? Or should I look for some 17's?
