Alright so I'm waiting on Mazda to ship the rest of my emblems, so I've had this 3 emblem all blacked out and nice just waiting to go on.

I couldn't wait anymore to do something with it, so I thought I'd throw it inside the car somewhere.

So how does this look?

that might be too much, but it could also be reallly sick. just hold the mazda up beside it and see how it looks, and take a pic so we can see too

also, I had the thought of taking the 2.5 emblem and putting it in the top right corner of the smile, I've seen this done on older models with the Axela emblem. any thoughts?

Somehow I feel that will grab attention for people to break the glass in your car and steal something...I was thinking where to add my 3 badge as well and perhaps wanted to paint it.

that's true, and I did worry about this for a while. But since I've put it on almost no one even seems to notice it when they're in the car unless they know what to look for. People who don't know Mazda 3's just assume its OEM lol

What if... someone cut out "mazda 3" from that strip, replaced it with frosted plexiglass or something, and had it very dimly backlit with some red LED's?

Yeah! It would be difficult to do specifically with the D and the A (what would keep the "holes" in place) but if you could make it clear, or even translucent, and then backlight it. So much work for a little detail though.

The 3 does look Quite awesome. I debated puting a decal there, but thought it might look out of place. I think I was mistaken!
