06 white GT Hatch

just got my 06 GT 2 days ago, and am completley in LOVE, like wow i cannot beleive the kind of handling this thing has, and its so nimble/peppy lol, cant wait to sink some money into new rims,intake, and tint. anyone have any tips/suggestions when it comes to my new baby? anything is appreciated.

couldnt agree more about white being the best color . cant wait to get little bit better rubber on my car. i went up against a nissan 300ZX last night while using my triptronic, the guy driving it sucked ass at gearing aggressivly, i was able to beat him, was about a 700m stretch. from salem to shaol point on baily in ajax =p

LOL @ racing your Mazda 3....come on, it's not a sports car and racing on streets is dumb. And a 225hp N/A Z while being a pig of a car would destroy a Mazda 3 just by going through the gears easily, if it was a TT you must have had a wet dream by mistake.....although you were in triptronic mode, so I could be wrong lol

Why yes, here are some useful suggestions, I highly recommend them if you care about your car at all.

- Mudflaps. Yes... mudflaps. Unless you like to fix paint chips on the side of your car every week or so. OEM ones don't fit... you need Rally Armor. My car has them. No more paint chips on the side of the car.

- 3M clearbra or Ventureshield cover for the hood/fenders/headlights and back of side-view mirrors. Again, unless you like to fix paint chips, you will find the money very well spent. Just ask anyone here who has regretted not putting them on from the very start.

- stubby roof antenna... purely just for looks. Stubby looks way better than the horsewhip antenna.

- new set of tires, maybe, if the ones on your car are wearing low. While you're at it, you can get your rims too.

- Bring the car to Krown and get it sprayed if it hasn't already been. You'll thank us later down the road.

Welcome! I'm new too and also just bought an 06 Sport GT in titanium. I thought I was going to do all the junk, but I think I like the car SOOO much (first Mazda), that I'm only thinking of tint (I told my wife I'll never have black leather without it again), lighting upgrade and some interior glow. I'm not touching anything else...
