    Default New to Mazda

    Hi everyone!
    I am new to the Mazda world, I previously had 2 Mercury Cougars (yes, feel sorry for me lol). Anyways, I just picked up a 2010 Mazda 3 GX sedan, so I figured its time to join a new forum. A question for some of you who have experience with installing HID's....I am looking at getting a 55W kit, and I believe the bulb size is H11, I have seen a bit of stuff regarding error code eliminators, and was wondering if any of you know if this is needed for our cars? Also, any recommendations on a good brand of kit to get, I've been looking at DDM.

    Welcome. Don't buy a 55w kit, go with the 35w.... Less chance of probs, and the 55 is way brighter than you need. Seriously, the 35w is at least 3 times brighter than stock halogens and turn night into day. Just keep in mind, if you're using the stock projectors, you will need to adjust the aim down slightly because the HID bulb length causes the beam to point too high.
    Yes, you need H11 bulbs.
