How is the car holding up what motor and how is the Automatic trans doing?
I got 180k on mine, but mine is 5-speed.

I have a 2007 Mazda 3 Sedan GT with 5-speed automatic. Currently at 142,000KM. Transmission is smooth and steady, I used to rip the car from 70,000KM to 110,000KM. (Until I got a big ticket.)
I use tiptronic and Drive half/half.
Will hit 179,000 by tomorrow.
04' automatic.
my car isn't a Mazda 3, but I'll just join for shits and giggles.
2005 Acura TL auto with 240k, no issues. Hope she lasts a long time. Tranny better hold out!
my 2007 Speed 3 had 43k when I sold her. Absolutely no problems. Miss her a lot actually. I was getting better gas milage than the TL too.
mine's at 156K driving an '04 w/ auto trans. Car has been good to me so she'll stay as my beater.
I just past 100k today , no problems what so ever and I don't expect any for the next 100k beside regular maintenance.
Got mine in Aug 2009 at aprox 97K, just passed 120K this past weekend on the way back from the states. Zero problems so far, hope it keeps up that way! (Knock on wood)
hmm im inching my way to 156k now..i think im 300 kms away from it.
My 626 (5 spd) had 327,000 km. No engine or clutch/gearbox problems. One of the mechanics at the dealership continued to drive it for I don't know how much longer. Our '04 3 Sport (again, 5 spd) had 214,000 km and again, no problems with the engine/clutch, etc.
so sounds like these autos are holding up
approx 176,000 - 5 speed. Bought it when it was at 48,000.

2004 with 4 speed Auto Tranny
All original parts running Mobil1 Syn 5W-20 and Mobil1 Syn ATF.
2004 Mazda3 Sport GT|Winning Blue| OG 2.3L @ 450,000 km & counting
108,000km replaced engine, replaced clutch. engine was warrenty replaced.
1 year later 30, 000km on new engine and clutch, all is good.
total 138,000km
picked this car up used and had no idea the engine was so ****ed, it burned oil like a bitch. luckily the engine was replaced by warrenty.
