With the sale of Ford's share of Mazda stock comes the discontinuation of X-Plan Pricing.
Known as a no haggle way of buying a car it really only saved a consumer money when the car was a highly sought after that wasn't really discounted to any extent by dealers. Typically all said and told, it worked out to $400-$600 off MSRP.. and it could not be combined with Grad rebate..
It also provided the dealer with a replacement unit for the one sold meaning it didn't come out of their allocation. Win for the dealer.
That being the case..
It's replacement program is the M-Plan and it is available to Mazda Supplier/Partner Full Time employees..
ie: IBM, Bombardier, etc...
It breaks down to dealer invoice (which includes freight and air tax) + 2% plus pdi ($555 for a Mazda3) it works out to around $400 - $500 over depending on the model.
Deal still qualifies for all other incentives including GRAD, Cash Incentive, First Time Buyer etc
Again with everything else... YMMV
