Default Stealth Sub Enclosure (Jack Door)

Hey Guys - I have an 06 Hatch and i'm dying to get my hands on one of these enclosures. Any ideas? I read a few posts on making your own but i'd rather just buy something.

Last I heard it was roughly $300 CDN to your door....just for the 10" JL-spec enclosure. The 300 RMS sub it's built for, is another 200.

There is a GB on mazda3forum for a jack stand stealthbox. I believe it is around ~$120 shipped to your door.

Not sure exactly how the GB is run, or if it's still on. http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=168647.0 EDIT: Looks like the GB is over now.

I'm DIYing a similar subbox, but I ended up trimming a bit of the interior trim so I can have more volume. I started the box before the summer, but because of work, did not have time to complete it. Hopefully it will be done very soon.

At that price, Im almost certain that it's a mould or Home made fiberglass /MDF enclosure

Ive sold an original stealthbox for an Escalade for almost a grand, and another for a DelSol for about 700.

I've also seen some home made encloseures fall apart because the sub literally blew it to pieces.

Probably...but gallipd001 wanted a way to buy it outside the GB so there's where it can be found.

Iceman_F1 that is exactly what I am looking for! Thanks so much. Do you guys have any idea how it stays mounted in the jack door? Are there clips or does it just sit in there on its own?

There is a bolt that uses the stock hole for holding the jack in place.

Yup. Though I couldn't get mine lined up in my quick test fit, I only tried for like 2 min

I sort of regret not getting one in the GB vs DIY. Mine is taking up so much effort, and I've probably spent close to the price in raw materials.

I didn't get it in the GB. Wish I did too as it would have saved a bit. Oh well, at least I have it.
