25,000 kilometers after a year , now 50,000 klm on 2012 mazda 3 sky. guess retirement means no mileage. bought a 160,000 warranty with guarantee no claims i get my money back great , got all my money back
165,000 on my 2010 GT, no issues at all except my bluetooth module went to the grave recently
sitting at 164,500 on my 2008 GT. Only problem I have is the EKG is gunked up and keeps tripping a CEL. It has been on and off for a couple of months now. The thing is almost impossible to access.

There is no preset Km to change it depends how you drive it
Felt clutch slip and changed it to exedy stage 1 and at the same time put in a lighter flywheel (exedy racing flywheel )
Mazda suggested belt change around 200 000Km ..Mine had no symptoms... but with age crack and internal integrity are not visible.
Since i decided to change to belt at 200Km i also swapped out the pulleys for lighter racing pulleys. It took an extra hr of labour (80$)
so why not lighten the load on the engine and re-lube the area.
Results: Fast Revving , faster off the line. Less load on the engine means more on the wheels.

My 2012 reached 70k a few weeks ago, and didn't live to go any further...

A little over 63,000km. I try not to put too many kilometers on the clock yearly, but I also can't resist driving my beauty. haha
Yeah, I was on the 720 expressway and my lane was clear so I was doing about 70 and not really ready to stop, some guy in front changed lanes at about 45, no big deal there, but then some other guy in front of that guy cut him off at 0. The guy going 45 had just enough distance and lack and momentum to miss him by a hair, but I hit some frozen mud and slid, wasn't able to stop. I usually anticipate moron moves like that and drive defensively, but this once was coming in just a tad too hot. Now, it's insurance galore.
First totalled car in about 25 years of driving...
Yeesh, sorry to hear that. Hope you get it sorted--and get a dash cam!
Dash Cam .... I think i need to get one and start posting all the moronic stuff i see
Hey... I know when our mazdas start on that over 200K mileage road... the 2.3L seems to show more oil consumption
followed by the 2.5L and then 2.0L. The gaskets and especially the valve seals start to shrink and let oil through to combustion.
Ive started to get preventative and using rilsone engine repair product (works in pumping up and restoring the seals)
I wanted to try slick 50 Recharged or Lucas stop engine oil leak. Has anyone tried?
