What car would you get with $4k - $6k more in your budget? And who has the $11k - $13k watch? I could have boosted my car or bought my watch. I chose the watch because it will outlive the turbo and my 3. With the cost of my watch added back into the car budget what would you be driving and what would you be wearing on your wrist? I'd take my mazda 3 and my Omega any day over a mazdaspeed 3 and calculator watch.

Although I do not care for watches, I can appreciate the fact that Breitlings, Rolexs and Tags hold significant value and can become a great investment. Who cares what the user drives, anywhere in 15-25+ years down the road, the watch will still hold value (maybe more) where the car will be scrapped or recycled.
Honestly I meant no ill will, and actually I never thought of a Rolex as an investment.

No worries man! I wasn't digging on you, I was curious about how the $4k - $6k would affect someones choice of car; it's arguably a lot to spend on a watch, but fairly insignificant in terms of the cost of a car, imo.
I have a few different watches that I rotate between...
Of the two watches you posted, I say spend a little more and get a watch from a brand specializes in making watches...
2010 Mazda3 GT - Silver
if you're looking for a vintage watch, and you're in new york or las vegas check out "chrome hearts" they do some one of a kind amazing stuff. I've only been to the las vegas location but it blew my mind.
LoL - Tag shouldnt be NOWHERE NEAR these watches. I mean my RADO alone is worth 2 Tags. Whereas a Rolly is easily worth 10 of my RADO's
Thats like saying Maybach, Bentley, and Toyota.
Plus - IMO, Tags arent that great...definitely not even excluse. I owned 2 Tags before I graduated high school.
I got a Hamilton Jazzmaster right now.
The movement of this watch is pretty much the same as Omega/IWC ... all under the Swatch Group.

I agree with a lot of the comments about getting yourself a nice watch from a reputable watchmaker. It is something that you'll have for a long time. But from there it all comes down to how much you can or want to spend. I wouldn't go spending $5,000 - $10,000 if you are still saving for a house or something like that. IMO there are some nice watches out there for under $1000 that might fit the bill. I bought a Tag Heuer Formula One years back while on vacation and I love it and I want to buy myself an Omega someday but it just isn't in the cards right now. I picked up a Citizen SkyHawk which I am really liking for the price too.
Good luck in your search.
