waaay worse than a hit and run. Had you not been very fortunate and been able to walk away from accident, person would of been the first person to be able to try to help you/ call for the help the fastest.

the fact that it crumbled is why he was able to walk away....the car absorbed the crash energy, by deforming, so that Ami wouldn't. i'd say that is a pretty solid structure in terms of saving lives.

yeah on the 407 they'd know who it was or at least who's car it is, don't know what the process is to get that information out of them. They might require a court order to release that info. hopefully some witness' step up with some identifying information

If they ran, they probably are not feeling that guilt...unless him/her actually got off next exit, came back after seeing your car flip 2-3 times in his/her rear view.

GLad you're alright, that is one serious mishap. As said before, since you're merging onto the 407 the camera's should be able to get the guys license plate.
