I was so loyal to Shell 91 because of no ethanol. It gave me a very consistent 50-70 km more per tank city driving.

^Yup, I forgot to look if it said ethanol at shell when I filled up last tank but i got 0.5 mpg more with it compared to Petro.

So it probably still is ethanol free.

I use to go out of my way to get Shell gas just because it was ethanol free, always gave me better mileage.

^Exactly. The only reason I use 91 maps with my AP is because all the 94 has ethanol now

Know i'm fizzing an old thread.. but I e-mailed shell about this and got this response:

    Hello Mark,

Shell is not planning on adding ethanol to its 91 octane gasoline.

All over Canada, Shell stations that have been converted to ethanol sites carry a maximum of 10% ethanol in Shell Bronze (regular 87 octane gasoline), and 5% in Shell Silver (mid-grade 89 octane gasoline). Shell V-Power (premium 91 octane gasoline) is ethanol free at all Shell gas stations (converted or not).

    Kind regards,
