Fast Five Movie Meet

Alright, Fast five will be out in a couple of weeks. Ami and I were thinking about setting up a Fast Five meet and throw in a small cruise to the movie theatre just north of the city.

Looking at Saturday April 30th early afternoon. The theatres won't be too busy so we can all park in the same area and the place won't be over run with teenagers speeding around in the parking lot trying to show off.

Based on the amount of interests, we'll get something set up.

My car will be at various Hamilton/Burlington theatres doing a F&F promo on opening weekend. I've been hired by Cineplex to open the F&F weekends since the 2nd movie was released.

Was thinking famous players Aurora. I have been there a number of times, and do not often seen teenagers hanging out in the parking lot...usually a good spot.

Suggestion: Go on a Tuesday night, it's half price night AND there will be even less teens because it's a school night. FMP Cineplex is a good place to go, there may be some teens there, but most of them get picked up and dropped off by their parents. Won't have to worry about cops or kids ripping in and out of the parking lot.

Woodbridge Colossus sounds good. It's pretty central for everyone as I'm sure there will be people from Brampton/Sauga who may come for the movie. There's also enough things to do and places to eat around that area in case there's a post-movie meet.

No seriously, it's not. Before BBT Tuesdays I was there every Tuesday, most of the time they are dead. And I'm talking specifically the First Markham Place Cineplex Odeon. Wait for the Tuesday after release, or even a week after that and it's not going to be packed. $7.75 isn't bad, but half price tuesday is $5


Edit: And yeah, Aurora is kinda far.... Especially since it's in Newmarket and not Aurora (according to google maps: Green Ln & Yonge)
